I am curious to see how common it is....
I know that sometimes you can supply more than one reason for no, but since you can only chose one option, please chose the FIRST one that is applicable. (I listed them in a specific order). I would be nice though if you would share in the comments all the reasons that applied to you.
And if you have no children yet, please don't vote.
Thanks!
Btw, my answer is that we had a girl first, B"H. Otherwise we would have made a Pidyon.

Our oldest is a girl.
My brother made a pidyon haben. Recently my father discovered that he is a safek Levi! He got a psak that it is a safek. So if my brother's son(s) make a pidyon haben, it may have to be without a bracha or something. (Is there a bracha?)
Gee, would this apply to my brother's daughter(s) too?

We made one for our bechor. DH had one has he is a bechor. DH's father had one as a bechor. (Additonally, I am a bechora, my mother was a bechora and DH's mother was a bechora -- lots of first borns).
Of my married children, 5 have made for the bechorim; 4 others had girls first and 1 is a bas kohen.

yes, we made for our bchor.
my husband is a safek bchor -- because his mom had a miscarriage before him. re: miscarriages before first born, it depends @ what point in pregnancy it was.
Just FYI - my husband did his "own" pidyon -- redeemed himself as an adult in yeshiva -- because he is a baal yeshuva.

yup, I just did!
everyone was commenting, were 5 married sisters now, and 4 of us made a pidyon haben. being not so common, its just interesting! the other one had a girl first. I also have 3 married brothers, and none of them did-2 had girls first and the other's wife is a bas levi.
