Depressed Teen girl Therapist recommended day program in NYC

I wouldn't accept the recommendation. That she's a girl therapist is ok, but if she's just a teen then how much experience can she possibly have, even if she started college when she was six? Plus she herself is still depressed, so obviously the program can't be too effective.
