My son went strawberry picking in camp today and asked to make a dessert with it. Any good ideas?

Make a strawberry smoothie, yum!!!! Put in pareve milk if you are serving fleishigs. You can also melt chocolate and dip the strawberries in it.

My sister in law gave me a recipe for ambrosia:
16 oz strawberries
8oz can of mandarin oranges
20oz can of crushed pineapple
1 rich's whip
turn on the mixer for just a few minutes until everything is mixed together (do not blend) and serve chilled.
It looks pretty and tastes yum!

Strawberry sorbet:
16 oz. strawberries
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. orange juice
Process in food processor til smooth. Freeze. It's delicious!

I posted this elsewhere:
1 container of strawberries
1 cup of sugar
2 egg whites
Put it all in the food processor & when it increases in size & reaches the top, it's done.

my neighbor was just telling me that she sometimes makes a pie with whip cream and fresh strawberries which she then freezes. She couldn't find the recipe... anyone know of one like this?

The Best of the Heimishe's cookbook....strawberry frozen dessert...in pie crust - whip, strawberries (I use frozen) and fluff...yummmmmmmm
