smoked salmon as in whole smoked? or those pink/orange coloured slices of smoked salmon?

in both cases, btw, I would eat is as it is,

in latter case, also as sandwitch or as a veg/smoked salmon tray of flowers

Is it ready, or raw?

Why not just serve as is, with wedges of lemons?
You can cut them in strips, and make "rose" shape out of it, goes nicely with avocado slices

If you MUST cook it for some reason, it goes nicely in scrambled eggs (great for brunches) or
with pasta. Thin sliced smoked salmon cook so quickly, you can just mix with freshly cooked pasta
and the heat cooks on its own.

This is the BEST and easiest recipe for smoked salmon
Take a water cracker (like Carrs) put a little of the green wasabi SAUCE (Gold's I think) on it, place a small pc. of salmon on top and then sprinkle with a drop of kosher salt. Eat the whole thing in one bight.
It's yumm.

Do you need to sprinkle kosher salt? Isn't smoked salmon salty enough?

You will need to make crepes to use this recipe but it's fairly easy after that.

Take your crepe and schmear a thin layer of parve cream cheese, sprinkle a few capers and one thin layer of lox. Roll the crepe and cut on the diagonal; depending on the circumfrance of your crepe pan you should be able to get 3 or 4 pieces out of one crepe. To serve, I put them on the platter garnished with lemon wedges and a few more capers sprinkled on top!

Enjoy

BTW - I have never heard of cooking already smoked salmon. I would use it as is.

I like making rolls with tortillas and avocado . we shmear avocado add lemon to it to avoid browning rolled them up hold with toothpicks and arrange pretty on a tray.

A fancy way( MY CREATION Very Happy)

...cut the lox up in bits add to caramelized onions ,add little black pepper your taste, then mix it with mushrooms stems and a little mash potato (instant or left over) . stuff heads of mushrooms and sprinkle with sugar ,broil or use a cooks torch or broil watching until sugar melts and turns golden .

It looks so fancy on those large ones ,or cute in the white kind!
