You want to call my 95 year old great-uncle to come get it? That's what my grandmother did a few years ago when she saw one in her kitchen--phoned her brother in law and said, "Nathan, come get this mouse!" She waited standing on the kitchen table...you have to picture my 85 year old grandmother and him in the situation and believe me you'll be in hysterics the right way, laughing, instead of screaming!

too funny! my coworker's mil , who lives about 1500 miles away from her, calls her screaming "help me, there's a giant whateveritis in my kitchen." just what she expects her dil to do from 1500 miles away is anyone's guess. (mil does call her a witch sometimes, so maybe she wants her to put a spell on the critter.)

the building's really old an is in pretty bad condition so it wont be easy 2 close up the holes.
I think im afraid of them cos theyre just gross an im sure they carry diseases an the idea that it cud crawl past me an twicth its whiskers on my ankle or leap from the side-table onto my shoudler, eeeuuuggghhh!!!

mice are afraid of people. As long as there's noise in the office, they won't come out. much less jump onto your shoulder!!! shock

I've heard of a sonic machine that emits sound frequencies that keep them away from a fairly large radius. Available in hardware store perhaps?

Want to try that, with your co-workers?

(As an aside is there any way the title of this thread can be changed ? Hashem's name, even in another language should not be used for mundane matters)

its is possible. a proffesional can do it> I saw one mouse in my apartment and after having the holes closed up I havent seen one since! There is no reason to live with mice. There are things that CAN be done.

well the mouse in our office is obviously not disturbed by noise cos it was running around freely despite the shrieks of terror, it scuttled up some old boards, across a table, under another table, it had no fear at all

A few years ago, a mouse popped out of a container that I had on my desk at work! It ran across the desk and jumped onto the floor, and scurried away!!!

I was so surprised!!!
