Try deli roll real easy to make on Friday

Is corn beef too expensive. - I boil it for a few hours with lots of garlic powder and pickling spice. When it cools I slice into nice thin slice and warm on the blech for shabbat afternoon

Three bean sald is easy. Cans of green beans wax beans sliced beets. Gabanzo beans. Sliced red onions. For a dressing I use vinegar oil sugar and black pepper. Marinate and serve. ( I do not have amounts but I am. sure you can google and come up with exact measurement )

Corn salad is also easy.
Coleslaw is also easy. Buy bagged coleslaw and add mayo vinegar and a little sugar.

If you have a grill you can ask your dh to grill chicken breasts (I love not having a pot to wash)

Have a good time relax and try to buy everything else Smile
Reuah shlima on the surgery.

Here's an even easier version:
1 can each of
green beans (not french cut)
wax beans
kidney beans
chick peas
drain (rinse as needed)
add
1 bottle good italian dressing (I use la holla, but any good one works)
mix and serve (will last in fridge for weeks)

I also agree that deli roll is great. Or grilled chicken!
Hatzlacha!

Cholent for Shabbat Lunch.
You can do deli wraps instead of deli roll.
String Beans with spices - cook covered in microwave safe bowl for 9 min with a little water. Drain the water, add olive oil and spices - salt and garlic powder.
If you want to make chicken, either grilled chicken (maybe on a salad) or breaded chicken fingers (cut the chicken cutlets into strips)
Roasted potatos with spices - olive oil, salt, pepper, onoin powder and garlic powder.
apple kugel or cranberry apple kugel can be made ahead and frozen.
Yerushalmi kugel can also be made ahead and frozen.
For dessert, make brownies with ice cream or ambrosia is easy to prepare.
