After nursing all my kids, well, I'm not the perkiest. What kind of bra will offer me the best support and give me a flattering look at the same time? I'm not too small just not huge either (like between a d and dd depending)

thanks.

Victoria Secrets usually have nice bras that are padded and give you a little "lift" they very comfy and are not expensive.

Another vote for specialized place. Go when the owner isn't too busy so she can really make you try on what size, shape, etc, is the best for you. When you know, remember it and buy the next bras on ebay.

but they offer no support to large sizes!

another vote for dedicating time and money to finding something supportive, find somebody really patient and expert to help you find the best product

I am also a size D, and was fitted for a waacol bra at saposh. I love it and have since bought many more at loahmanns which sells them at a fraction of the price.

But you need to be fit once a year. I've discoveed a new plce, more convenient than My Intimach; it's in Union Square, called Journelle. You can PM me for details.

Posting anon because of the mention of my size, and because if anyone googles this particular bra they'll find out how expensive it really is. Even my husband doesn't know how much they cost. embarrassed

Chantelle bras - they are very expensive but you can find them on sale, in Nordstroms or some of the small shops. They have hard to find sizes (I'm a 32dd after 3 kids) and that size is nearly impossible to find. Their t-shirt bra is amazing and gives you a great shape and support - I dont know the exact style name but its the one with the striped straps if you happen to look into it.

chantelle bras are amazing!

I have a very large size and I went to a specialty store to get fit. the chantelle's were the best but they were too much money, so I settled for the wacoals which were pretty good, but just not the same!

Nicole - I'm this amother - Nordstrom's has them on sale every year during their semi-annual big sale. You can find them then at half-price. They're a fortune but worth it. Wink

try 32G if you think you're big, plus my bras seem to be to small now I've gotta go get myself refitted!
