Exercise is great but don't forget to increase your calorie intake and eat protein and whole grains.

[quote="LuckyMum"]I second the excercise idea.
I think that just packing on the calories will make you round, not the look you want. You want to build up your frame - muscle building should do the trick. Muscular arms are way nicer than flabby fat ones... the same for all the rest of your body parts.
You can increase your breast size too if you focus on chest excersises."

I was losing weight at one point (but I was eating well and not exercising and I am skinny to begin with) and it turned out I have Celiac disease, which, untreated, causes you to malabsorb nutrients. Do you have any symptoms such as digestive issues, anemia, lactose intolerance, even fertility issues? Maybe go to yout internist for a checkup just to see what he/she thinks.

I never had this issue but many in my family have a hard time maintaining a healthy weight. they are prescribed ensure or pediasure by their dr.
also strength training can bulk u up a bit if thats what ur after. although not to my liking

I second drinks like ensure or pediasure, but speak to your doctor first.

my aunt also drank lots of milkshakes when she was pregnant.
that was almost 20 yrs ago.
knowing what we do about nutrition and mortality
id be surprised to know that a dr would advocate that kind of diet in 2009.

Someone I know lost ten pounds over the last year once and the dr. was concerned. He gave a certain amount of calories a day the person to eat and guided him with what kind of foods are good. Eating junk isn't very healthy but nutritional fatty foods are good like nuts, dairy....are much better. write down everything on a paper and calculate it at the end of the day. Maybe you think you eat more than you really are.
Remember-every single persons body is different and we should all be happy to be what we are. There are all sizes and shapes and if we want we can find at least one thing we hate about our body. Loving your body and building confidence really does a lot to you. Try it, it works.

Op here
I have tried it. I look as if I dressed up for Purim. I need to dress according to my frame and appearance. However even if it would help, like padded bra and heals, I'd still be this skinny little kid when I'm intimate.
I have been tested several times. Bloodwork was all perfect. Thyroids and all other such stuff were tested perfectly fine.
According to all replies I realize that there is no magic pill for weight gain. I do body shaping pilates almost daily and I don't get any muscles.
On the bright side, my fridge has never been so full. I bought every fattening food I could spot

Are you saying that, or is your husband saying that?
You have to do things for yourself that make you feel s*xy. You're not a skinny little kid. You're a woman, and you should feel like one.

Sounds familiar!! I have a same issue, just that I'm not petite. I'm 5-4" weighing <100 pounds!! People constantly ask me if everything is OK, if I'm sick or whatever. It hurts. I eat just like everyone else. I love pasta, breads, potatoes and all those things that people on diets don't eat. I visited a doctor and he said I'm ok, no thyroid issues, no abnormal blood work etc. I drink special protein shake 1-2 a day. It's not like I care too much about what others think about my body, it's just that I see how my clothes are baggy on me and I'm so bony...
oh, and I have a one year old baby, and I simply lost that weight and more after him!!
My advice would be to just eat and pray lol! Also drink protein shakes, for some people it really helps!!

Checking your thyroid is a good idea.
I used to have this dream where I could take fat off of myself and stick it on someone else. How great would that be?

If your issue is during the day, you can wear padded bra which many of us do, including myself.
If your issue is with DH during intimacy, why don't you focus on lingerie.
Perhaps a push up undergarment will make you look more s--y..

The looking much younger than your age thing just takes some time to turn into a good thing. Since I've passed 30, it's been a good thing..... It was no fun to be mistaken for a teenager or high schooler, but it is nice at this point, so hang in there.
I'm also not as thin as I used to be....Age helps with that too.
