I've never heared of this particular service, though, I've heared from lots of friends that they received their "pallette"!!

Pallette: You pay a lady 400-500 $ to tell you what colors will suit you, what season is good for you, the materials you should stick to, make-up you should use, how to decorate your home etc

I think it makes alot of sense but I wud want 2 make sure I really trusted this woman's capabiliteis.

I wudnt choose a friend even if she wanted to do it as a favour cos she may not have the knowledge on what suits my body-type or skin colour.

In england in a few big department stores u can book a personal shopper 4 free who will advise u on the best outfits for ur budget and body shape.

I have not yet tried it but if I had an important occasion 2 attend and had money set aside for a special suit or dress than I would use the service. Altho I wonder how they wud cope with the limitations of tznius...

However, to just buy a sweatshirt an jean skirt 4 every day I think I can manage on my own.

why pay so much when you can buy a book that tells you all this for a fraction of the price, and then you'll have it from then on?

...if you really have ivory-white skin and raven-black hair or just imagine you do

I had my pallate done when I was in high school. It was fun. Even though I generally know what looks good on me it was helpful in getting me to try out some new colors. It also helped for when I started with makeup cuz she told me which companies made the best foundation for my skin etc. of course it made it a little easier that my mom was paying for it, not sure if I would pay for that now...

anyone on here used Jessica Riola?
