dh watched the kids while I napped yesterday and suprised me with preparing the ingredients for most of the stuff on my list

mini-egg rolls (freezer)
franks in blanks (dh)
chicken soup (dh peeled all veggies)
Meat (freezer)
Potato kugel (freezer)
Grilled Veggies (dh peeled and cut)
Blueberry - custard merangue pie (new recipe - I hope it is good)
blueberry sugar cookies

Sorry, never heard of it. Why don't you pm the person who listed it? If it's not been mentioned here, you just want the recipe, I would suggest you start a new thread under recipes. More ppl are likely to notice it.

MENU

Plain red wine - we have LOT of it !
Bought challos/rolls from Whole foods, ww I guess

Whitefish spread (bought)
Green salad with interesting sprouts from Whole Foods

Chicken ratatoulle (hot); eggplant, mixed peppers, zucchini

We're having guests this shabbos. Different ones friday night and shabbos day.

Friday night:

Homemade challah

Melt in your mouth salmon. (With garlic, lemon, coarse salt, and spice rub)
Roasted pepper salad
Techina (whole grain)
Babaganoush
Eggplant mock chopped liver
Sweet n sour Carrot salad
Cucumber salad
Regular simple yummy cabbage salad (with a little oil and salt and pepper)
Curried carrot red cabbage sauerkraut (Happy Mom's recipe)
Israeli salad
Garlicky Lemony Greens salad

Teimani style chicken soup, with Hawaj
served over a bed of couscous

Fruit platter for desert:
Mango, Sabras (prickly pear), Grapes, Melon


Shabbos day the same, except replace the soup and couscous with sweet potato cholent and kishka

(PS- Can you tell I love making salads???)

duck sauce chicken
whole wheat or ruch farfel
sticky green beans
cucumber salad
marinated mushrooms
fruit salad

gefilte fish
egg salad
Israeli salad
cholent and kishke
oven fried chicken
brown rice salad
cucumber salad
marinated mushrooms
compote or ice cream

Spaghetti salad:

1 bag spaghetti, boiled and drained
1 bunch scallions, chopped
sesame seeds, toasted

1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. soy sauce
few dashes sesame oil

Honey Mustard salad:

Lettuce
tomatoes
cucumber
red pepper
avocado
craisins

1/4 c. mayo
1/4 c. honey
1/4 c. oil
2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp. spicy brown mustard

I have it easy this week, Im jusr making friday night frsh challah which my family loves I have frozen fish from last week chicken and a kugel. shabbos lunch we are invited to my daughters house so I really dont have to make anythign what a break>>>

Im having a lot of company Shabbos day. I woke up at 5:45 this morning to start cooking so I wouldnt be doing it all day.
So...
Homemade Challah
boiled loaf fish
loaf fish with tomatoe sauce, mushrooms and onions
homemade babagnush
chumus
egg salad
coleslaw
beet salad
corn salad
a big romaine lettuce salad with italian dressing
chicken soup and kneidels
roasted chicken
cous cous with fried veggies
potato kugel
cholent
for desert I made an ice cream pie and a pareve cheese cake

Im spoiled ...going to my daughtes for shabbos lunch..for friday night I took out leftover froozen chicken and kugal...and Ill probly make farfle..last week we never made it to mydaughters for lunch because it rained so we made do with all the leftovers from friday night which wasent much but I didnt have any kids home only me and my hubby and my elderly mother who lives with us.
