so what do I do ... I bought a utility knife which came with a mini ... I was gonna give it to my friend's kid then dd saw it and wants it too ... now I have 2 people constantly nudging me for the thing ... I feel bad if I give it to one and not the other ...

Unless you told friend's kid you'd give it to him, give it to dd if she'll use it. Family comes first. Or else keep it for yourself if you have any use for it. Just b/c a kid asks for it doesn't mean he has to get it.

they both know I have it ... they both want it ... I've been holding it contraband for the right feeling to come to ... and so far the nudging has just gotten annoying ...
