Anyone have experience with Holyland shmura matza? I can purchase it in my local supermarket. How is the taste?
Are the matzot partially burnt or not?
Do some of the matzot come broken?
Are they on the thicker or thinner side (how many per box)?

Been eating Holyland for a few years now. The only other hand Matzah I've had a lot is Shatzer.
Burnt: the edges are usually burnt a bit but depends on the piece. Not more or less burnt than other things that I've tried.
Broken: We've found a bunch that have come broken in the past. Again, depends on the box.
These Matzos are DEFINITELY on the thicker side. thicker than Shatzer. In terms of taste, I think that thickness is closely related to taste when it comes to Matzah.
