My dh won't touch eggs, salmon, avocado or broccoli. What about yours?

If you cook with things he doesnt like inside, will he eat around the dish or not eat it at all?

If it's kosher, he'll eat it. Even if he dislikes it. Still, he will ask me not to make stuff sometimes because he doesn't enjoy it. I've still seen him eat those things. He might on occasion choose to eat cereal because he really doesn't want what I made.

Mayonnaise, cottage cheese, plain avocado, plain yoghurt, cream cheese, cream sauce - you can see a texture theme emerging...

I add avocado to salads and he'll cope. Recently he'll be okay with a small amount of mayonnaise in tuna or egg, but the rest I just don't make / serve him. He really dislikes wasting food so he must really hate these foods.

Wow. Most things.

He doesn’t eat….

Any pasta with cheese. Plus the only pasta he’ll eat is elbows with sauce cooked a certain way.
Any cheese except for on pizza, or a calzone
Any salad or vegetables other than cucumber- the cucumber must be peeled, chopped tiny and dressed with lemon, canola oil and table salt.
Any chicken on the bone. Cutlets that are fried only he’ll eat.
Most meats (lamb chop, deli ect) except steak and meatballs
Broccoli
Potatoes- he’ll only eat them only mashed or fried or in a cholent.
Fish- he’ll only eat my mils and sometimes mine
Tuna fish mayo (to be fair I couldn’t touch it either)

So much more. Argh 😠

And my kids inherited the his limited tastes buds!

Lucky me!!!

Mushrooms…. It’s a family thing, my mil never has it in the house…
Sometimes I’ll make something and add in mushrooms only for myself because I think it’s delicious.

DH will eat anything if he thinks it will go in the bin otherwise.
He goes through our whole fridge at least once a week and finishes everything that is out of date or close. He does the same again his parents house.

But he won't eat hummus, falafel and tehina 🤷 I think he has something against middle eastern food.

No fruit or vegetables!!! except apples, avocado, lettuce and tinned veg like peas, beans...
It can be tough as I am limited and can't do fancy recipes but some say I'm lucky... I don't ever have the pressure of preparing a salad.
