Ds is a big drinker. He keeps a water bottle near his bed and drinks during the night. His diaper is quite full in the morning. Recently he has expressed interest in getting rid of the diapers but he’s not even close to making it through the night. Even if I took him once he wouldn’t make it the whole night. I told him he’d have to stop drinking at night and took away his water bottle but he still was pretty full in the morning. He still came to me this morning thinking he was dry. Any tips?

Everyone's body is different. It's not something that you train in most kids, it happens on its own when the body is ready. It's completely biological in nature. It's still normal at age five.
