We are so spoiled...

My internet was slow today. Takes long for each page to load. I tried shopping a bit online. It took a few minutes longer than usual and I was getting so annoyed. Thinking that it was not too long ago that if I needed clothes or supplies or houseware I had to dress up and head on over to a store. From there to some more stores, until I found what I needed. Now that we have everything at our fingertips I get annoyed if it takes an extra few minutes once a while.

You can share how you feel we are spoiled these days if you’d like.

I relate to this so much.

Can't think of more examples because I'm too tired but I'm sure there are many many more ways in which we're spoiled without even realizing it.

I was actually just thinking how spoiled we are that we have access to Spotify, YouTube, Ect.
We have such a variety and everything at our fingertips. We used to have to listen/watch whatever we bought over and over.

Now, I would never watch something more then once. I have tons of playlists and can listen to so so many different things.

The only thing that hasnt improved is travel. Especially air travel.

Rumor has it that pretty soon we'll be able to get anywhere by car.
We don't need to go food shopping anymore. Door dash anyone?

Can't remember the last time I saw the inside of a grocery store. I make online orders twice a week.
Instacart from Wal-Mart target Costco so haven't gone to those stores in years either. I still do shoe and clothing shopping in person.

Maybe. Still nothing proportional to the huge advances in all other industries, including the medical and surgical fields...
