Make a light sponge or angel food cake and then top with custard and blueberries. I usually make this with fresh summer fruit like peaches or plums and sprinkle the fruit with sugar and put it under the broiler until the sugar melts but you can do it without that step instead.

Blueberry crumble

3 cups blueberries (I like using fresh)
1/4 cup sugar
1 teasponn cornstarch
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Mix in mixing bowl

Topping crumbs/bottom
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 light brown suger
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 stick margarine, melted

put half of crumbs on the bottom of 9" pan, then put the blueberries mixture, top with the other half of crumbs.
Bake 30-40 mins until the topping is lightly browned.

can serve it with ice cream on top.
