I recently learned that there is a minhag to put arbes in chicken soup...
What communities have this custom? (I have just never seen, so am curious.)
Do you cook them separately and then serve them like a topping/add-in? Or are they cooked in the soup?

I've seen it by chassidim. They're baked separately and added to the soup like croutons

I cook them separately and serve alongside the soup. Dh likes adding it into his soup. We both grew up with it, but not as a "thing", just something we liked.
