The Nine Days are also a sad time and yet there are people named Menachem/Nechama because they were born then…..

In Hebrew Sapir is sapphire. It’s a pretty name but not necessarily connected to sefira.

There is a source in Chassidus that sefira is related to the Hebrew word Sapir- sapphire
