I am IyH due during sefira and I’m looking for ideas for girl names. I like more mainstream typical names.

Sefira is a sad time. Why would you want to name your baby anything having to do with a sad time? Or did you just give that info out but you aren’t really asking for a name that has any relation to what time of year she’ll be born?

Sefira is not a sad time. Av is a sad time (according to chazal)
Sefira is a time of tremendous spiritual growth and preparation of kabalas hatorah.
Yes we have halachos of mourning because of rabi Akivas Talmidim. But that’s not what Sefira is about

Interesting. I never thought of it or was taught it like that.

I can think of a few names but the only one that could possibly be considered "mainstream" (and even then it's a stretch) is Tzofia צופיה

Sefira is not a sad time.
We are preparing to receive the Torah.

Every week of sefira has a different strength.

If you prefer very conservative names, I think Rachel is a great choice, with the connection to Rabbi Akiva's wife.
If you would consider something a bit less mainstream, you have: Chessed, Tiferet and Malchut. I know girls with each of these beautiful names of Sefirot (all in Israel). Tiferet is probably the most common of those, I know a few Tiferets, including some outside Israel. (I know two sisters named Tehilla and Tiferet.)
Of course there might be something inspiring in the specific Parsha or Haftara, but you might need to wait and see which week she is born, b'ezrat Hashem.

There's no name Sholomis.
There's Shlomit and there's Shulamit/s

In which language?

In Hebrew Sapir is sapphire. It’s a pretty name but not necessarily connected to sefira.

Anything to do with the Torah, since sefira is all about counting down to receive the Torah.
