my only question is what did he do with it when he went on the plane? I would think it would take a while to deflate no?

It has a built-in pump that sucks out the air as well.

I don’t think there is. Israelis call it Petel.

One minute. There's really no equivalent for this in US? What do kids drink? It's just water or full on juice?

I'm surprised becauset this is such a staple in the UK...

This is much cheaper than juice and the British versions are generally sugar-free, so much healthier too.

Also feels healthier I guess, since you just add a small amount of the concentrate to water.

I know what you mean, if you're thinking of petel. It's like a super super sweet drink - you can't drink it on its own. Kind of like the raspberry syrup I've seen for pesach.
It's not the same as juice. You can drink undiluted juice.

[quote="amother Pansy"]I once saw a bunch of pigeons wading in a puddle. A man got out of a car with a big net, scooped up an bunch of pigeons, and quickly got back into this car and drove away.

It's been at least 10 years and I still can't figure out why he wanted all those pigeons.

I definitely remember seeing his shidduch resume going around, back in the day. Pretty sure it was him.

Not the funniest ever, but last week my identical twin girls (5 yo) were playing on the mitkanim (no idea how to translate. Kids climb up a little ladder and there are all kinds of slides, obstacles etc) of the playground. A little boy (known neighborhood 'wild child') ran up to one twin and pushed her to the floor, then he turned around and the other twin was behind him and roared in his face. The look of fear and confusion.... G-d forgive me for laughing!!

Here I thought that people raised pigeons for this purpose.
I did not think that people went out into the wild to get pigeons because who knows what illness those pigeons have?
What is the point of curing your Hep A and then getting some other illness from the wild pigeons?

You are correct. Street pigeons have illnesses and people use specially raised pigeons to remove hepatitis not random pigeons
