When my son was brushing his teeth in the bath today, he started to drink the water. I told him not to do that. He answers "but water is kosher" Now that answer caught me off guard.

Chanie,

About drinking the bath water, my daughter said something similar. I told her not to eat the snow outside and she said, "Why mommy, isn't it kosher?" Tongue Out

non jewish friends of ours have kosher candy in their house, for when our children come and play. they bought it cause they felt sorry for my kids always saying "no thank you, I can't eat non kosher candy".
their children came over to play by us, and we offered them candy (glatt obviously). the girl says "no thanks, I am not allowed to eat kosher" Smile

I don't know.....I just thought it was cute, and it looked like the friend was identifying with my girls, like - hey you're not the only one who has to say no to a treat, or something like that.
