My goodness, I can't imagine where you work. In my place, a sub is practically given the celebrity treatment -- wow, a new person to shmooze with! Wow, s/o who's helping out! We love you!

I'm a sub and I must say I love it! they all make me feel just like you say - a celebrity! it's a very very hard job and I think the teachers know and appreciate that
