I know those in time zones ahead of NY have done this already, but it's that time of year again!

Taking this opportunity to wish all a Ksiva Vchasima Tova, Lshana Tova Umesuka. A very happy and healthy sweet new year to all Yiddishe households out there, with only blessings in the coming year! May this be the year of Moshiach.
Or better yet, may we all celebrate Yomtov in Yerushalayim!

I know. Motzei Shabbos Selichos always gives me the chills, but in a good way.

My husband actually does selichos in the morning (even the first one) as that's how they do it in the yeshiva. He came home from learning just before midnight, so technically I could have gone out because he could babysit (YES - I used that word regarding my husband watching over his own kids Very Happy ). I actually debated it but ultimately felt weird going out alone so late.
