Ok, so I've lived here for awhile now but managed to buy maternity items when needed in department stores and the like. I am sick of the maternity clothing I have amassed in my previous pregnancies. I just want to toss them. They are so outdated. Which frum maternity retailers in Baltimore do you recommend? I realize they will probably be overpriced but where can I go that is most reasonable? I need a couple of Shabbos outfits. Thanks.

Are they still there? I thought they were going to be online only for now on?
Mommalah, not sure what types of things you like to wear, but I had a lot of hatzlacha at Shiffy's Maternity (Fraida Baila Rahbaran: 410-484-1330 at 6601 Greenspring; she has hours on Tuesday from 8-10 or on Sunday 10-1, or call her for appt)
She really works with you and will order in special if you need...jinji, lilo, cravings, ricki cheer or whatever that brand is, ran, etc
Never been to Great Expectations, but you can try that too...

Target, at least in Pikesville, has no real tzniusdik maternity clothes, and what you might find isn't so shabbosdik.

I was there yesterday...Their store was completely disorganized, they had mixed plus size and maternity and when I did find maternity it all felt like cheap material and nothing tznius. It's weird b/c Ive seen decent stuff there before, of course I wasn't pregnant then and everything was on sale!

I just want to find like a nice 2 piece shabbos outfit. No suits! Don't need like crazy trendy stuff.. I just need to be comfortable, able to walk easily, etc...Is Shiffi's affordable?

Yeah, online selection at target.com is much better. My first pregnancy I ordered stuff from there and just returned what I didn't want to the local target -- sometimes their clearance racks have stuff from people returning...
Shiffi's is frum pricing. It's definitely cheaper than NY and Lakewood, and she has coupons sometimes in the local publications...she also has a clearance rack. But it is not going to be Target/Motherhood pricing. Most of my Shabbos stuff is from there. You can easily find tops and skirts there and mix and match. I actually like that better as you get more wear out of an outfit -- like a satin shirt I got from there I could wear with a regular black skirt for Shabbos or a fancier one for a wedding. And Fraida Baila is a sweetie

DITTO DITTO DITTO!
I love Fraida Baila (and formerly Shiffy)! For this past pregnancy I found a Jinji top that I loved and she ordered it for me in an additional few colors/ fabrics. That was my pregnancy wardrobe!
Yes, frum pricing at $40-$50 each (the Shabbos ones trimmed in lace were $10 more) but paired with a few black skirts I had from the previous pregnancy and that was literally all I wore. I think I also used a 20% off coupon from the Advertiser.
------------------------------------------------------------------
After my son was born, at a pre-Yomim Noraim shiur our Rebbetzin focused on tznius a bit and then handed out sheets for us to take home with details about tznius in modesty clothes. I am not embarrased to say that it hit me that some things I wore during the pregnancy (gotten at Target, Motherhood, etc.) were perhaps not so appropriate. I put the sheet of paper in storage with my maternity clothes so I'd remember it for the next time. b'ezras Hashem, I did need to go back to that closet not too long after. SOOO, I went to the frum store even though I already had a bunch of things in the closet. Yes, I did spend some money, BUT I knew that I was wearing clothing that had the right look for me. [not to say you cannot get tzniusdik at non-frum places, but just wanted to share my experiences.]

(Tova, you mean tznius in maternity clothes -- tznius in modesty clothes sounds redundant )
