If you're planning on giving an "End of the year gift", I'd give the teacher flowers at the siddur party. If not, as a former teacher, gift cards or money was always to most appreciated gift, in a thoughtful card!

I have friends who are teachers and have received all types of gifts.
From money, to gift certificates, a limoge dish or even a gift certificate to the beutician for a mani/pedi/massage! You can also get these mugs or pen holders, that say #1 Teacher etc. She could use that too! Along with a note, they would greatly appreciate it.
