I have searched everywhere! A million websites. The couple I saw were $40 and more. Any ideas for cheaper ones?

I don't know what sizes you need, and boys vs girls, but Kohls may still have some:

Motion activated lights aren't going to go over well on Shabbat, though. They had a better selection in stores a couple of weeks ago.
Target also has a lot online. Search ROBE not BATHROBE.

That's so funny! I've also been going crazy trying to find a bathrobe for DS and I can't find anything. Isn't that the weirdest thing? You wouldn't think it would be so hard to find a bathrobe for a toddler (I did see for infants, but not toddlers).

It's cheaper if you don't personalize it.
Is this what you're looking for?

it seems so. Who has kids that actually wear a robe over their pjs when they are cold? And, who can wear fleece after the bath?

Well ds has only one (a hand-me down from his cousins) and his tushie is already peeking out from the bottom, so that's not going to work...
