I was so busy with the kids I didn't realize I put the liner from the chicken container in the soup pot! (the thing at the bottom of the tray that chatches the 'juice') My MIL said it's chemicals and I should definitly throw the soup out! So annoying. I rarely make soup becuase I find it to be so difficult to make. I know DH likes it, so I was doing it special for him for Shabbat....There is no way I am starting over at 9pm Thursday night....

sorry JBA. What a pain. I have done things like that before too. I guess you still get credit for trying, though.

I once cooked my chulent in the crockpot w/ a spoon in it. that was one awful smelling, inedible chulent!
