What's your favorite sesame chicken sauce that's not mushy and clumpy?
I'm looking for a chinese sort of garlic chicken, like the ones you get from chinese rest..
Thanx

1 (8 to 10 oz.) jar apricot preserves
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. water
Mix all ingredients. Heat on low until bubbly. Pour over chicken and rice.
This is a hot sauce if you prefer spicy:
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2-1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2-1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
(If you don't want spicy leave out the red pepper flakes)

I like the Soyaki sauce that you can buy from Trader Joe's.

it depends on your batter first, not the sauce.
dip your chicken into corn starch, and then egg whites. then fry.
then, any sauce will stick nicely.
