Can someone please explain to me the difference (menudos) between litvish and chassidish havara

Because the chassidim I know do
Eh for segol
And ee for chirik (like litvish)

And Viznitz, Vien, Ruzhin chassidim say "ay" for tzeirei like litvaks. Not just Skver.

And other sects, notably Stoliner chassidim, don't use chassidish havara at all!

kumetz yid chassidish is oy (moyim)
kametz yud litivish is eye (mayim)

in chassidishe havara the kumetz can make an ah sound depending on where it is in a word. so if it is so you don't say oonunee you say uhnuhnee or at the end of the word.

And a pasach segel for chassidim is the regular eh "eminu" not ayminu

It's more complicated than just a few words because it depends on other factors like the type of shevu bla bla

Only Satmar says zoyin. I don't know why. It has a pasach.

No, it has a kumetz. Even type Efraim into google it comes up with a kumetz.

The word Yerishuloyim sometimes has a pasach and then you say yerishulayim.

I'm asking if, when it has a kumetz if litivishe people will say the oy?

Ok. Thanks for clarifying. There were some Lakewood girls who stayed shabbos at my relatives house. I went to help her motsi shabbos and they were asking why we say Yerishuloyim and that they had never heard it, stressing the oy, so that's why I assumed so. Sorry! Guess they went to some other school not standard litvish.

Yes, I did. I was not aware that when there is a kumetz that Litvishe people also say oy. Why do I need to know the litvishe havara rules. I based what I said out of some girls that asked why there is an oy.

Obviously sometimes these words have a pasach and sometimes a kumetz. I don't get your question.
