Hi,
I'll be traveling to Hunter mountain for a two day skiing trip as a first time skiier. If you did such- I'd appreciate any tips.
Was anyone in the area? which hotel is recommended? We will IYH be eating at Melour. I don't need a fancy hotel as we will be out most of the day. maybe a hot tub would be nice.

I've been to the area several times. There aren't a lot of traditional hotels to choose from, and some of them are pretty run down. An AirBNB is probably your best bet in terms of proximity to the mountain and bang for the buck.
