Keep in mind that I have no idea where in the world you live.
If you're in Florida, forget the skiing idea; it's just not practical. Wink If you live in an area where people ski, google ski or snow tubing places near you.

Let her figure it out herself with friends. You’ll have enough time to hover once she gets home. The point of Seminary is to learn independence.

This is irrelevant. What makes you think I’m her mother?

Perhaps too chilly.

The forecast there tomorrow is 17° centigrade, that's 62° Fahrenheit. Not really cold, but not weather for sitting on the beach.

Anything that a seminary girl is doing has to be accessible by public transport, and if its outside needs to take into account the short hours of daylight. She also needs to get back to light chanukah candles, preferably close to the right time.
Outings within Jerusalem amd the surrounding area is most practical.

Now if there was just some snow...
Its hardly a day trip, anyway.

Many girls get together and book a driver or small tender for a day trip so they can get exactly where they need to go without waiting around, etc. When divided between 5-8 girls, it's not that expensive...

There are also bus routes that go to these places... They can ask their madricha or call the bus line...
