Who's your favorite writer and why?
I don't read a lot. but the thread about Etka Gittel Schwartz reminded me of her serial Full Harvest I read in the Binah and it was just beautiful in every way! I really enjoyed it!
I also really like Leah Gebber.
How would you describe the writing style of these 2? I haven't read in a while.
And please share your favorite authors/writers and what it is about their writing style which you like most?

They're both thoroughly researched Jewish historical fiction. Same exact genre.

When I was in seminary, there were some old magazine copies lying around with parts of an Etka Gittel Schwartz serial about the American Civil War. I still wish I could read the whole thing.

Do you know which magazine it was? Maybe they can send you a copy?

No, but I think the serial was called Grey Lines. As far as I know it was never published in book form.
