I am trying to figure out what size tablecloth to get for my new table. Approximately how long should the table drop on each side? The table is about 125 inches long. Is that a 144 tablecloth? Or even longer?

Around 30-50 centimeters on each side.

You can use 144, its at the very shortest of a proper drop. And it won't get in the way of people sitting at the head/end seats. Or you can go one size up. It will be on the long side and you might want to hem it.

How wide is your table? You want it to come down the same amount front and back, as on the sides.
