Wondering if anyone had this as a symptom, just begain the mounjaro 2.5 yesterday and today seem to have gotten my period which is odd since Ive just gone to the mikvah a week ago and have never been early like this. The only other change in life is this mounjaro, doesn't seem to be a side effect from what I googled. Has anyone else had this?

Thinking back I might’ve had the same, but it had been a while since my period so didn’t think much of it.
Very interesting!
It didn’t happen after though.

It can interfere with oral contraceptives and cause spotting and bleeding.
Also long term, getting rid of body fat can cause a change in menstrual cycles (usually for the good).

Forgot to mention im on non hormonal Iud.
Not from weight loss cut im only on it for 24 hrs!
Must be a side effect?

Do you have the real monjouro from the pharmacy that comes prefilled spring loaded needles??
I take those usually but once I didn’t have that and got from someone that sells it a regular syringe filled with what I was told is monjouro (I was desperate cuz it was erev yom tov and I didn’t want to eat to much. I know I shouldn’t have used something that I couldn’t verify what it was)
And I injected it and a few hours later I got my first period in about 8 years. I wondered if it was something to do with that injection.

It’s not officially a side effect but if you look on Reddit you’ll see numerous threads about it.
I’m on mounjaro and on combination pill. I’m not having problems, but I am getting breakthrough bleeding after less time. I used to be able to take the pill continuously for 4 or more months. Now I’m bleeding after about 10 weeks. I did some research on it and it seems that it does mess up cycles. But the good news is that usually your body acclimates and the problem goes away. You might have an issue when you go up on dose. I would only worry if it happens again.
Also, are you by any chance on thyroid meds? If you are, and you lose weight and your thyroid goes fast, that could mess cycles and cause extra bleeding.
