I get that many people don't share the gender, even if they do find out. but have you ever heard of people not sharing the due date? someone was snarky to me when I asked what I thought was an innocent and common question.

Some women who are often overdue or just don't want "nu nu" comments in their 9th month just say "end of November" or whatever, no specifica. I tell my close family but random people I will just give approximations

I only tell very immediate family.
Everyone else gets an approximate

I usually just say "last week of x month" or "couple days before x"

I dont want a million phone calls and messages if I am overdue but tbh I am usually a couple weeks early.

I dont tell anyone. The date is just an estimate anyway. Ive gone a few weeks early ans a few weeks past so I dont focus on the date at all.
But even if I did, I never understood why someone would ask. Why does it matter to you???

Some people think it’s private. I’ll say “I’m due mid December, first week of January, last week etc…

Same I had a late loss and saying a due date triggers me so I don't. I will say what month but that's it or around what yom Tov. Etc

I've never had anyone share their due date with me. I've heard people say "I'm due around Chanukah" or "in the summer." It's also not acceptable to ask in my experience, just listen if someone shares.

I’m a private person and don’t love to share my due date so I say “around x month or time of year.”

I don't share exact date bec don't want the 'nu have you had it yet!'

The date doesn't mean much anyway, I've been 5 weeks early, 3 weeks early, 10 days late, a week late, bang on due date and a few more in between!

Actually, with my first pregnancy my due date was on my birthday, and it was so funny to me and I shared it with everyone
That was the last time I’ve shared a due date, I hated people knowing

It was a boy, and yes!
We share a birthday:)
And if anyone is curious on the statistics of it, it’s a .012% chance, or 1 in 8,230!

I can't ever go to my due date because of complications, I usually have to be induced no later than 39 weeks, there have been times where it had to be even earlier than that, once as early as 35 weeks. So my due date is already a sensitive issue, I don't like to talk about it
