I often see on Instagram influencers post certain things that are "followers only post", but I don't follow them & I can see the post/video.
What does followers only post mean?

Presumably, only those who are following can post to the thread. IOW, "If you're not one of my followers, I don't want to hear anything you have to say."

I just watched a “followers only” post on FB and anyone can see or comment.

Its a gimmick - to get people to view because often humans are "curious" when something isn't 'for them'.

Its also done in like "this is only for women over 25 if you are not a woman over 25 keep scrolling [pause] did you see the fireworks last night?"
