I don't know if clairs does it, or any random place in the mall , but I suggest going to check the place out before you actually make an appointment. You don't want to end up somewhere unsanitary or somewhere you don't feel safe.

Why would it be a chillul Hashem if your doing it then your already doing something assur

Why is it assur?

ETA - I think this is what the OP of the thread
" why is everyone so mean these days"( or something like that) had in mind. she asked a question, and is only looking for responses, not someone to tell her if its assur or not. Either you have a suggestion or don't respond.
Im understanding now her frustration that this site turned to bashing people instead of advice.
Im not bashing you, and yes, everyone is entitled to thier opinion, just trying to bring awareness of how this site has changed over the years.

It's kind of a trashy thing so I don't want people seeing me go in with my tichel and them thinking Jews are just fakers

So why are you doing it if it’s trashy?! I’m just trying to understand why a frum person would want such a thing if nobody ever sees it

Firstly her husband sees.
2nd many women on this site aren't as frum as you and cover hair. Who said op is on your level?
3rd she didn't ask should I get my belly pierced.

I don't think non-jews see it as trashy. It's just the same as any other piercings

I have heard from people who know that you should look into a tattoo/piercing parlor that is good, clean and has good reviews on. I would Google and find some place and then make an appointment and go. If you're having trouble because of your filter or something you can then I would suggest you know going to the public library, something like that wouldn't necessarily be banned there

I’m super yeshivish and considering it since it’s something my husband wants
I’m not planning on walking the streets with a crop top but something I would do for dh and myself

It's always viewed as trashy. The difference is, it's for OP's husband, not the street.

If you're worried about chillul hashem, then it's the same chillul hashem regardless of where you're getting it done.
But why do you think that it's a chillul hashem??

A place that does it regularly doesn't think of it as trashy. It's normal for them. Do you hear what I'm saying? They consider it normal and this is what they do all day so they won't twice that you're doing it. It's not a chilly Hashem. As opposed to if you go to a place which is really for earrings they might think into it.

So go for it, no one has to know about it.
Just make sure the place is clean & sanitary.

VIP bodies in kings plaza. They have closed off rooms. Call in advance and request a woman for religious reasons. They’re used to it

Extremely clean and professional. It’s the place with the gold skull wall

Be careful to time it as far away from mikvah as possible because technically you're not supposed to take it out for a few weeks after getting it.
