Hi I have 4 kids and am looking for a mid winter idea my kids have the week off. I am looking to not spend a lot and I manage to find different ideas for less every year, need some fresh ideas . Tristate area looking for about up to 5 hour drive rather not winter activities and not indoor water parks. My teens would love Florida but do not happening we can pack food don’t need restaurants. Chill ideas work but need something if you get what I mean

We went to New Haven and Stamford Connecticut last year we did IT adventure ropes course ( tip tell them you are wearing two layers call leggings pants and say you have pants and a skirt and need to leave the skirt on if anyone called it leggings they gave them a hard time for some reason ), post mall has Dave and busters and escape room maybe other stuff, mill river park has ice skating, we stayed in between those and also went to the local kosher pizza places. There might be ice skating closer to IT adventure and post mall.
