My 2.5 yr old is waking almost every night screaming she needs a drink. She's not my first child and having a very hard time weaning her off a night time drink (after which she goes back to sleep) Any ideas? Letting her cry it out doesn't work shell climb out of bed and come to my room every minute all night all week seems genuinely thirsty anyone else had this , is this normal ? She drinks throughout the day (water or milk diluted) doesn't seem excessive thirsty during the day..
Edited to add Tried these de/humidifier things didn't help she doesn't seem too hot or cold just thirsty

I leave a water bottle in my kid’s beds. They all need drinks at night. It’s normal in the winter with the heat drying everyone out. Why not leave water for her to take herself?

Do you never drink at night?
If she's drinking once or twice, it's normal.
If more, check if she's mouth breathing. That can cause a very dry mouth.

Put a sippy cup in her bed before you go to sleep.

Her room might be very warm or she might have strept.

I tried that idea of leaving a drink in the bed she either didn't realize or drank it and wanted more. But is it normal to still wake up at this age ? Tbh I wake every night for a drink lol but never had this with my other kids they managed to sleep through the night fully, well before this age

Always leave a water bottle such as a contigo at their bed before they go to sleep. Letting her cry for a drink is sad. All toddlers should always have water available to them night and day.

I leave a reusable water bottle in my kids beds. I fill it til the top every couple of night.
Something like this: Simple Modern Disney Minnie Mouse Kids Water Bottle Plastic BPA-Free Tritan Cup with Leak Proof Straw Lid | Reusable and Durable for Toddlers, Girls | Summit Collection | 12oz, Minnie Mouse Retro
