looking to get a cc that has a hood point system, no or low annual fee
Until now we used a card that gave cash back (1-2%) and put that toward vacation but we want to get more
We travel about once a year, maybe another two night getaway that we’d like to use points for too if possible.
What cards do you recommend? Getting overwhelmed with the options online

I would focus more on the sign up bonus than the points you earn with each purchase. My current cards include:
Chase sapphire preferred - current sign up bonus is 60,000 points if you spend $4,000 in 3 months. All chase sapphire points are worth 1.25 when redeemed for travel so 60,000 points is $750 in travel. Annual fee $95. They also give a $50 hotel credit annually. Everyday points are 3x on dining 2x on travel and 1x on everything else. I opened this card when the sign up bonus offer was 100,000 points.
Capital one venture - current sign up bonus is $75,000 when you spend $4,000 in 3 months (worth $750 in travel credit). 2x points on everything. Covers either global entry/tsa precheck for one person (up to $120) once every 4 years. Annual fee $95.
I also have the Amex blue cash which is cash back (not points) but it’s such a great card so I’m mentioning anyway. $0 annual fee. 3% cash back on groceries 3% cash back on online purchases (includes Amazon etc.) and 3% cash back on gas. The cash back only applies to $6,000 of purchases per each of the three categories.
