I'm currently teaching and very unhappy in my job. I want to quit. I have 3 kids, currently expecting and I don't want to take on work outside the home. Any ideas for a job I could do part time remotely that is flexible? Something perhaps using my background? I have a Masters in Early Ed and Special Ed. I've taught, worked in early intervention and tutored. I'm not a big fan of tutoring over zoom, plus I don't want to work in the evenings. Any ideas would be helpful. I'm located in the tri state area.

What type of things are you interested in? And how much money are you looking to earn?

You can probably do most of it remotely and use your bachelors

Can u make a school curriculum or make help schools order furniture. Or make a workbook that u can sell. Write an easy read Begginer books there isn’t enough. The popular thing todays day is to give some class like anti bullying… become an expert in something g like giving Kiriah courses…

I have a few ideas that I would love to do but don’t have the contacts and knowledge to pull it off. If ur a go-getter u can invent things like educational “dr” stickers, curriculum books for frum schools, educational games, etc

Maybe a coordinator or more administrative role?

That you’d only have to be in the office a few times a week

I work as a care manager for Tri County Care and enjoy it. It's mostly remote with visits to clients in person.

Thanks for all the replies. Honestly, I don't need to earn so so much. A couple thousand a month would be great but even less is fine. I can't work in a very structured environment with tons of rules etc. I like my freedom. Can you tell me more about what a care manager does?

About me- I'm very social, warm, bubbly, I am very creative and I love helping people figure out solutions to problems. I'm a great writer. If I'm working with children, I prefer the preschool age. I love helping parents figure out how to best help their children and advocate on their behalf. Unrelated I love fashion and design, I have a great eye. I'm very organized. I think that's it Smile
