Voucher to a coffee shop or bookstore.
But that may be like money where you see the amount.

I got a diffuser that I really appreciated. I've seen people get fancy soaps or a fancy throw blanket and that was really nice

I actually dont love cash because it gets spent just like every other penny around here...

A warm pair of gloves with leather fingertips that work on touch screen phones.

An insulated coffee cup.

A throw blanket.

These were useful. There were other things that I don't remember, but I do know that scented candles are a waste of money.

I like a nice hand cream or diffusers from known/ 'fancy' brands. (Even better if it comes with a gift receipt so I can swap the smell or to something I need at that time)

Cash. I prefer the $5 then a coffee mug I throw out or donate.
Instead of spending the money on something, just give me the cash equivalent.
I also prefer cash over amazon. I just recently got a gift card to amazon and I wish the person gave me cash to spend it on something I actually want

As a teacher I appreciated chocolate and cash.
As a giver I feel stupid no matter what I give.
Money I never feel the amount is adequate.
Lotions, bath bombs and bags are too personal.
Doughnuts are probably stale.
Who doesn’t have gloves, shawl, umbrella by the time December rolls around?
Anyway, I hate gift giving season. Glad I got that off my chest.

Yes! There are a few cute things I’d enjoy but someone else may not. Just like I wouldn’t want a chocolate bar but it’s been mentioned on here that others would like that.
So just be safe and give the $. As a teacher that’s what I’d want and as a parent that’s what I give even though I’m not able to give much.
