She's usually not like this, any ideas on how to help her? Maybe supplements (I know she needs more sleep, I keep telling her) and good nutrition but anything else?

How much weight did she lose?
Anorexia can cause the reproduction system to stop functioning correctly.

It's normal to miss a period in sem. I have heard of girls who missed theirs for months in sem. It's a change to their system that they are adjusting to.

About your daughter's moodiness, I would be more concerned about whether she is getting enough sleep. That is a much bigger deal.

I didn't get my period a single time in seminary.
And yes, I was sometimes moody, till I would crash, sleep for a full day, and all would be good again.
I don't think there's a substitute for sleep 🤷‍♀️ But your dd may have to figure that out the hard way

I am definitely encouraging her to sleep more..but they still sleep less than normal! Anything else??

I'm not worried about it, but I"m just wondering if we can do somethign about her moodiness (I know she needs to sleep more, anything else)?

How do you behave when you are lacking sleep?

It is possible that her body is preparing for a period and that is contributing to the moodiness. I say this (ahem) as the mother of a teen.
