Dh has very different taste than me in jewelry. I told him early on not to buy me expensive jewelry because it ends up being a waste of money. I’ve bought myself some nice pieces on Ali because I know what to look for. I had a big milestone recently and dh wanted to buy me jewelry and went to town on Ali express buying super cheap jewelry for like $2-3 each. They arrived and are way too garish looking for me. Dh realizes that now. I feel bad throwing it in the garbage. Any ideas?
I got moissanaite jewelry from this store and am wearing for many years. Just don't get any of the chains (the pendants are good and the earrings/bangles)
They also have fabulous service (I sent back what I didn't want and got my money back, one time my bracelet needed repair and I sent to them and they sent it back fixed, wearing it for 2 years after now without any issues)
If he already realized it's not your taste then it's too late to fake it so just get rid of it. As a gift it's the thought that counts so make sure to show plenty of appreciation and love for that.
