No. I still use the same car seat that I got 14 years ago. I just don't believe that car seats expire. I never heard that a baby was in a car accident and the car seat broke because it expired

And I heard many of injuries because the car seat couldn’t absorb the impact correctly. Why would anyone take a risk with their child’s life?

Do you personally know these babies? Is it your friends or neighbors or family or is it that you just heard of babies

The full car seat. They usually have an expiration date on the back. Depending on company usually it's between 6 & 10 yrs. from manufacturing date. Donna is 6.

The hospital won't let you leave with an expired car seat, or at least they're not supposed to.

Yes always. Not worth the risk. The styrofoam that surrounds the baby gets brittle and weak after a while

Yes. But I also take used car seats from people giving away in my neighborhood. As long as it's not expired and never been in an accident.
