My 10 month old ds has been sick more often than not the past couple months, a double ear infection once , mainly just congestion , runny nose, cough. He'll get better and 3/4 days later he's sick again.
What can I do to help him recover faster/ not get sick again?
Any good immune boosting foods? Vitamins approved for this age? Vitamins I can take that pass through breast milk?
Thanks!

Do you nurse? If so, eat lots of garlic and onions.
Also herbal drops or capsules to boost immune system.

Add garlic and onion in your food when you cook and yes you can try them.
Consult with staff in a health store, that's the best IMHO.
Another thing: frequent hand washing with soap is always good and highly recommended for all ages.

I wouldn’t suggest garlic while nursing. It will make your milk taste bad.

Natures cue has something called immune power which is what I take to boost baby’s immune system. Also crops vitamin c is great.

I know youre not going to like this answer but im saying it anyway. Do your baby a favor and stop vaccinating him for now. Build up his immune system and allow his body to rest.

We all ( me, dh, big kids) wash our hands frequently but he's crawling all over, putting everything in his mouth..only so much disinfecting I can do..
No health food store near me , maybe I'll try calling one of the frum in town stores.

I actually " delay vax".. I start at about 9-12 months and give one at a time..so he's only gotten one so far..

Probiotics, magnesium, trace minerals, cod liver oil, b vitamins, anti inflammatory, clean, nutrient dense diet. The gut is the seat of the immune system.

Also, it's normal for babies to be sick a lot. As long as you support their body through the illness and they recover fine, it's normal and beneficial.
