Its a olam hasheker
Just be a faker
Doesn’t matter how holy one is
Just the amount in the bank account his
However one wants he can spend his days
As long as good money he pays
A child so innocent and pure
And you won’t open your door
A child who has done no wrong
Who has been waiting for this day for so long
Who has been dreaming of uniform and a bus
And you make a whole big fuss
There’s no place
Others were ahead of you in the race
That one we know so we had to take
Other arrangements you need to make
That one has a nicer family name
It will bring us more fame
That one has a better image on the street
So you get the back seat
The other is a cousin of mine
I hope you understand it’s fine
We’ll take you in after סוכות
Cuz why not add to the רשעות
I don’t care if or how often you pray
Just how much money you’ll pay
It doesn’t matter how much chesed you do
Only if it will benefit us too
I don’t care what your values are
Only that you can’t travel too far
The length of your beard and the color of your shoe
That’s how we measure the goodness of a Jew
It’s fine if you watch movies or have a screen
Just as long as it’s not being seen
Even if you’re part of the Jewish nation
You can’t join this congregation
If you wait it out long enough
And commit to our bluff
We might be able to do something
But we’re not promising
This is a letter to all mothers
Who need to tell their kid you’re not like the others
We follow every rule
But still, you have no school
Through no fault of her own
Only cuz we live in this town
What does a mother who feels so bad
Say to her kid who’s so sad
A mother who’s breaking inside
And just wants to hide
You never thought you’d be the one
It’s not pretty, not fun
Why does a five year old
Need to be told
The truth of the situation
Its a broken generation
It’s chodesh Elul hashem is near
People in ‘power’ don’t you fear?
You need to give a דין וחשבון for every and each
Kid who the teachers won’t teach
How can you justify the hell you put someone through
By saying it’s the system, the vad, not you
You’re amazing people but there’s no place
What a disgrace!
For the hostages in Israel who you never met
You say עם ישראל חי we’re all one, very spiritual you get
But when it’s your neighbor acquaintance or friend
You don’t offer your help to lend
You don’t show you care
For your Jewish brothers right here
Enough with the two-facedness
Start doing more and talking less
It’s time to do better as a nation
And put an end to the devastation

No words about how broken and corrupted a system this is. Only hugs.
(And a comment on how well written this is!)

Wow.
So painful.
This is a must read.
My heart is with you dear OP.
I am now going to say a Perek of Tehillim for you.
May your child get into an amazing place very soon with loads of Hatzlocha.
And same for all others that still need a place.
May Hashem revamp this system so every child is welcomed and appreciated.

The problem is clear
for those of us not near.
The solution is too,
a school for every Jew.
The place where you live
is not quick to forgive
anyone who is not the same
or who won't play the cash game.

You don't have to break,
you don't have to hide.
You don't have to stay
in that place with this way.

A change. Yes it's hard.
You might lose your back yard.
You might miss your loved ones
and times oh so fun.

But your children, oh so dear,
at the start of the year,
will have a front seat
and dance to their own beat.

Where cash is not king,
if you reach for the gold ring.
Where each Yid is loved,
not only by Hashem above,
but valued and wanted.
And where money and names are not flaunted.

You'll start with no name.
No stake in the game.
You'll struggle, I'm sure.
It takes time to feel secure.

But your children, they will thrive.
And know they have a place.
For Torah and truth you will strive.
And a smile on your face.

I bentch you with this:
Hashem will send a hug and a kiss.
A school and a life
with calm and not strife.

It's impertinent to say that the solution to this problem is for OP to move. The people in power can continue doing whatever they want and all the school-less families now need to be displaced???
Thbey need to move just to get their children accepted in a school?

It seems to be a city-wide issue, and it's not just an issue in the schools. This is the way of the community. It's not a place I'd ever want to live, wherever this is, if this is the issue in the entire community.

So yes, I'd move. And I've moved a number of times as an adult. We moved until we found a city and community that was right for US and wanted US.

Yes, I'd move if no school had a spot for my child. I don't see how staying put would be an option.

I don't want to diminish your pain,
What you're going through is really insane,
It shreds your beliefs and bleeds your brain,
It's all incomprehensible just the same,
I don't have any numbers for you to call,
I don't have an in with the know it alls,
I do have a message to impart,
And it's really a good place to start,
You just continue to do your part,
Remember to daven with your whole heart,
To the One that really holds all the strings
Not to the office staff that bad news brings,
Al tiftichu bindeevem believe with all your might,
No one has permission to harm you, please hold on tight
Talk to Hashem and channel your grief and sorrow
So that His house will be rebuilt soon and a better tomorrow
We don't understand why this is happening
May Hashem send you your yeshua very quickly and you will be gladdening.
Deepest hugs and my sincerest sympathies
Come back and let us know when your situation does ease
