I am doing a quick face lift in my home - just painted and would like to update the super cheap lighting and doorknobs that the builders put in . Not looking to go super fancy but do want to get something more mid end .
Are there any local stores that sells nice quality items (not Lowe’s or Home Depot )?
I do not want to purchase online because I would like to see the things in person.

There's a lighting store near stitch and sew - no idea of pricing or quaility.
I think you should order from Amazon and return what you don't like.

I changed lighting all with Amazon (Home Depot and Lowes too) fixtures, and I couldnt be happier. I bought only those fixtures that I liked, that had high ratings. I also bought from Home Depot and Lowes. I have no regrets.

Rainbow Lighting in Howell has very nice fixtures and very affordable.

Was really happy with rainbow lighting, didn’t find much in Home Depot and Lowe’s. Door knobs I did find in there.
