Almost any shirt for boys will not have rubber on the bottom. I've never even heard of such a thing for a boy.

You mean the shirts have elastic at the bottom?

I've never seen that.

Have you looked at Next.us ?

I find they run a bit big but I haven't bought for a few years so might have changed by now

ETA they are called Jumpers on Next

Do you mean elastic not rubber?
Like an elasticated band at the bottom?
Just get any shirt that's not a sweatshirt. No button downs have an elasticated band. Your other option is to size up so buy one size bigger than he needs. Also check his pants. Some of the modern pants are very shallow from between the legs to the waist so kids with high hip bones they aren't high enough.

It seems like his tops are too tight on him, maybe he needs a bigger size. I never had this issue with tops.

My trick when I'm trying stuff on when buying or before a new season: the child needs to raise his hands while wearing the top. If I can see above the waistband of his pants then it's too short and it will be too small by the end of the season. That goes for tucked in shirts, tshirts, sweaters and sweatshirts that are not tucked in.

Thanx... his tops reach mid behind to short?

Are you looking for shirts or sweatshirts? I haven't seen sweatshirts with rubber or elastic on the bottom. They have regular fabric on the bottom.

Try a regular shirt and give him a sweater of sweatshirt without elastic to wear if he gets cold.

Where it reaches doesn't matter if it folds up when he moves or raises his hand.

They might be too narrow if the fold up and stay up.
