SUPER EASY ONION SOUPFROM NSHEI NEWS
heat 3 tbsp oil in soup pot and saute 4 onions thinly sliced until lightly golden, about 10 min. add 1/4 c flour and mix until absorbed by onions. add 2 tbsp brown sugar,1/4 c onion soup mix, 8 c water and salt and pepper. bring to a boil. reduce heat and simmer 45 min.
then you can serve with cheese and croutons if you want or just leave it pareve
